Kokomo Clam Nursery
Continuing our commitment to environmental preservation and protection, Kokomo has created a clam nursery project, to help protect and maintain Fiji’s giant clam population. Threatened by over fishing, giant clams play a vital role in helping maintain a healthy ecosystem by filtering pollutants and helping eliminate reef pests such as the Crown-of-thorns starfish.

Manta Ray Cyclone Feeding
Cyclone feeding is a group foraging behaviour of Manta rays whereby the Mantas move in a vortex like pattern as it is the most efficient way to eat such a density of plankton. This is a very rare foraging activity and has only been observed around Kokomo in Fiji.
