Kokomo Private Island Fiji has been awarded Virtuoso’s 2026 Top Producing Hotel & Resorts Partner for Australia & New Zealand, marking the second consecutive year the island has received this recognition.
Presented as part of the annual Virtuoso Awards, the accolade honours partners within the network who have achieved the highest overall sales performance across the region. It reflects not only strong demand, but the continued trust placed in Kokomo by leading luxury travel advisors and their clients.
Set in Fiji’s Kadavu region, Kokomo has built a reputation for delivering a highly personal, experience-led stay one that is shaped as much by instinct as it is by design. While the award recognises performance, it ultimately speaks to consistency: in service, in delivery, and in the relationships that underpin the business.
“This recognition reflects our people, both on island and beyond, who bring a deep sense of pride and purpose to everything they do,” says General Manager Karen Merrick. “Kokomo is grounded in the connection between our team, our partners and our guests, and to be recognised for a second year in a row by our Virtuoso partners across Australia and New Zealand is something we are truly grateful for.”
For Kokomo, the strength of the Virtuoso partnership has always been built on alignment; an understanding of what luxury looks like today, and how it is delivered. Across Beachfront Villas and Residences, and through experiences that range from reef exploration on the Great Astrolabe Reef to quiet, unscripted time on island, the focus remains the same: to create stays that feel considered, effortless, and genuinely personal.
This year’s recognition reinforces Kokomo’s continued growth within the Australia and New Zealand market, as well as the strength of its long-standing relationships within the Virtuoso network. The Virtuoso Top Producing Hotel & Resorts Partner Award remains one of the network’s most competitive accolades, awarded to those who demonstrate excellence across sales, service, and guest experience.
At Kokomo, we see this as a reflection of the collective our team, our partners, and our guests who continue to shape what the island is, and what it becomes.
